Blood donation drive conducted by Uganwadi Panchayathi in collaboration with Akash Medical College and Hospital.
Blood and blood products are a unique and precious national resource because they are obtainable only from individuals who donate blood or its components. Students of GRV Nursing Institutes participated in voluntary blood donation drive organized by Uganwadi Panchayathi in collaboration with AKash Medical College & GRV Nursing Institutes in a procedure that can help save lives.
Programme started with lighting lamp from members & leaders of Uganwadi panchayathi, with a brief note on programme by Community Health officer Mr. Ajay. GRV Nursing students exhibited the Charts and Pluck Cards prepared by them with a formal education to people gathered in Government Primary School, Uganwadi. Students helped the organizers in vital check and distributing refreshments, also with their voluntary blood donation including staffs. Programme was concluded with a vote of thanks and certificate distribution to students and people who came voluntary for donating blood. A token of appreciation with a certificate for GRV Nursing Institutes.
