On April 8, 2025, GRV Nursing Institute conducted the Clinical Orientation Program at the Government Taluk Hospital, Devanahalli, marking the first significant step for our B.Sc. Nursing students. This essential program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the clinical environment, ensuring they are well-prepared for their upcoming hands-on experience.
The Clinical Orientation Program focused on familiarizing students with key areas of hospital operations, including the structure and functioning of medical and surgical wards, the casualty department, and ICU protocols. Students observed emergency care procedures and the fast-paced nature of critical care settings, gaining insights into equipment usage and essential procedures followed in the ICU. They were also guided through the hospital’s key procedures and safety protocols, learning about infection control, patient safety, and clinical ethics.
