The theme of this year's World No Tobacco Day 2024 is "Protecting Children from Tobacco Industry Interference."
Programme was organized by GRV Nursing Students at Sadahalli Government High School, on 31st of May 2024, programme was started at 11 AM with a warm welcome. Chief guest for the day Dr. Neethu Rani (Medical Officer) Sadahalli PHC and Head Master of Government High School. Target population for the programme was high school children's.
Our students highlighted the risks involved in tobacco. Students conveyed the message to high school children's through a skit explaining the adverse effect and how the children's are getting influenced by Industries. Programme was concluded with a rally around the village with a slogan (No Tobacco) and with a vote of thanks to High School Head Master and Dr. Neethu Rani Ma'am.
